Real Art Replicas

When you’re looking to commission an art reproduction company to paint you real fine art replicas of your favourite oil paintings the best thing to do is to compare and contrast their art replica paintings to the original.  With that in mind I thought it was high time that we at Fabulous Masterpieces do the same in order for you to judge how good our fine art replicas really are.

How to find a great art reproduction company

So step 1 in your research before even asking for a quote should be to compare and contrast the original painting to an art reproduction’s company’s fine art replica painting.  As if the quality of their art replicas aren’t great it doesn’t matter what the price is or how cheap they are, as if you think their art replicas are bad you’re hardly going to hang them up in your house.

1. Look at Our Real Art Replicas

Here are some examples of some real art replicas next the the original. The first one below is a Canaletto, the original painting and our hand-painted replica oil painting. Judge for yourself how good our copy is.

 Real Impressionism Art Replicas

Painting fine art replicas of Impressionist paintings are actually a lot harder then you think, the brushstrokes are a lot looser so they can be quite hard to copy.

I am interested in better understanding the price point of museum quality replicas. I assume these are painted in oil and designed to be of similar quality to the original but by a contemporary hand? What would you charge for a reproduction Bouguereau of this quality?

  2. Hello Richard, many thanks for getting in touch. Yes all of our fine art reproductions are hand-painted with oils onto canvas. Prices depend on size and complexity but here is our Bouguereau page to give you a better idea of prices http://www.fabulousmasterpieces.co.uk/page38.htm
