This Beautiful painting entitled: ‘Eucalyptus et Oliviers’ (1907) was painted by French Fauvist artist Henri-Edmond Cross and is going up for auction this month (June 2019) at Christie’s with an aspiring pre sale estimate of $1,261,174 – $1,891,761. As Christie’s says: “Eucalyptus et oliviers is an ode to the serene, sun-kissed atmosphere of the South of France, where Henri Edmond Cross had relocated to in 1891″.
